A:
Some significant information did I learn about these interviews was that life for everyone did not seem easy. Even adults had hard times during the Great Depression. Whether you were white, black or a child life was hard. Jobs were scarce and when found they were usually pretty hard to keep and do. There was a lot of racism in these times and that made life much harder for immigrants. Life also seemed pretty dull and boring for many people, all their life they have practiced at being good at a certain job and that would end up being the only job they've known since they were little.
On top of having dull lives after many people lost their jobs they knew nothing other then weaving, farming, or maybe working in a factory. People also had hard times with the dangerous jobs they had to like with poor equipment they were given which would sometimes not prevent getting injured such as Mr. Garavelli explains in this interview here. People moved to cities to find work and it was just as hard. They were sometimes ripped off and really these people who belonged in the country side on farms were forced to move to cities they did like to try and find work like this man at Eddie's Bar explained here.
